She tears off the pearl necklace he gave her and throws it down in the sand. Bette tells Amy how proud she is of her, making Amy feel extra guilty. She invites Amy to stay with Bette and Emily while she attends UCLA. Casey is injured when he tries to apprehend two taggers defacing the lifeguard headquarters. Sara tends to him and calls Tyus. We realize there is still chemistry between these two former lovers. Tyus arrives, examines Casey and okays him. Casey and Sara say goodnight with awkward affection and later, we see they are thinking about each other.
