Stevie Creed, a young, self-published hip-hop artist in Edinburgh, is playing late-night gigs in rock venues along with running a one-man Fringe show based on his past experiences in New York City. Stevie is jugging all this around his day job as a suit salesman and mourning his friend and bandmate Jamei-Lee, who passed away at the age of 27 a few months earlier. Motivated by his grief, Stevie decides to make the most of life while he can and returns to Brooklyn to pursue his rap career and reunite with friends and artists; put together a live band; organise a show and record tracks for his new album. Fellow musicians arrive from Scotland and join Stevie on a trip to the Catskill Mountains to make music. Making every moment count, Stevie jets off to Atlanta for a wild weekend of self-promotion and partying- with funny and dangerous outcomes.
