Fathi decides to ambush the unknown early riser, and discovers an elderly man who disappears as soon as the door opens. During the film, the reasons of the old mans strange deed are revealed. The film is based on the story The Clock and the Man, written by Samira Azzam, a Palestinian writer who lived in Acre.
