Jane heads for a drink with fellow spoon searchers Mark and Jude and finds out about other things to do on the island.Jane heads out with old friend Terri to Timanfaya National Park where eats chicken cooked by the heat of the volcano and then drinks the local wine.Jane visits the small town of Teguise, the former capital, hears a timple being played, sees how it's made and also has a go at palo canario, the old way of stick fighting. She ends her visit with a sea swimming lesson with coach Paul, who works with Jane on her technique.
