Little Witch Academia: An argument between Akko and Amanda in the midst of potions class triggers the explosion of one of the class' concoctions, causing them both to get a detention and develop a common grudge against Diana, who belittles them for their temper. While cleaning the academy's tower, the two girls witness a horde of dragons carrying off the Sorcerer's Stone. Strangely the academy staff does not choose to react to this theft, instead revealing by accident that this was part of an anticipated prophecy involving a dragon. Lotte recalls the legend of a white dragon who resides in the nearby Ruins of Rastaban and who might have stolen the Stone, which makes Akko and Amanda impulsively decide to get it back. Accompanied by their friends, they proceed to the ruins, where they discover to their surprise that the dragon - who goes by the name of Fafnir - is actually the owner of the Stone and has loaned it to the academy, and has simply repossessed it because Luna Nova's staff was unable to meet their interest payment this year. However, Diana is able to completely reverse the situation by translating a promissory note between Fafnir and the school written in dragon language, which states that there was never such an interest agreement; Fafnir simply abused the fact that the teachers could not read Dragonese to extort the money for his own coffers. Caught in his deception, Fafnir is forced to return the Stone unconditionally and refund the unjustified payments.
