Enraged King Kou charges at Youko with his sword but Kourin stands in the way and gets stabbed instead.. Kourin falls and dies. Realizing what he's done King Kou wonders what will happen to him now and screams. Later at the palace Youko agrees to save Keiki. King En sets up the attack for the next morning. Before she goes to bed she talks outside with Rakushun. He tells her how much he wants her to become queen. Still doubting herself, Rakushun turns into his human form again and tells her that she was chosen for a reason and to trust Keiki's decision. The next morning Youko, Sugimoto, King En and his army are ready to set off. They arrive at the palace of Kei and King En tells Youko to find Keiki while he and his troops battle the defenses. Youko finds the dungeon where Keiki is being held, she realizes he has a spell on him and uses her magic ball from her sword to heal him. He tells her how glad he is that she is safe.. And bows to her and officially announces her as the Queen of Kei. Guards enter the room and tell her she is a fake, Youko stands up for herself and says the only reason the kirin is with her is because she is the real queen. King En appears behind them and says its the truth.. The men drop and bow. 1 month later.. Youko is shown on her throne mourning the loss of the dead. Sugimoto congradulates her on a job well done. Later, Keiki is getting ready to send Sugimoto back to her world.. Youko tells her she will find Asano and send him back as soon as she can. Sugimoto tells her she will live a happy life for her.. After a flash Sugimoto wakes up back on the same dock she was first transported from back in Japan. She visits Youko's mother and tells her what has happened. At school she overhears people talking about a boy who dissapeared for years and then re appeared all the sudden one day.. Sugimoto finds the boy out on the school field painting, he introduces himself as Kaname Takasato..
