He saves a special treat for the gang leader. First he uses mud to blind him. Then he puts a gun in his hand and kills him. With screenplay writer Franco Rossetti (Django amongst others) moved himself successfully into the directing chair, but it remained his only spaghetti western. It is a well made film which tells a brutish story in a gritty and violent way.$
